Transitional eNRMC Product
SimpleMed is as a registered Transitional eNRMC Product under the Transitional Arrangement for Electronic National Residential Medication Charts (eNRMC).
A Transitional eNRMC Product can legally create PBS prescriptions on a medication charts without needing to create a paper copy of the prescription.
Prescribers, facilities, and pharmacies will have access to these electronic medication charts. Pharmacies can transcribe prescription into their dispensing software for supply of medications.*
RACFs implementing SimpleMed software suite will have access to funding through the eNRMC Adoption Grant Opportunity.

eNRMC Adoption Grant
The aim of the eNRMC Adoption grant opportunity is to increase the uptake of electronic charting products in RACS. The increased use of eNRMCs will contribute to improved medication management and safety practices and improved health outcomes for Australians in these settings.
RACSs will use the funding provided through the eNRMC Adoption grant opportunity to help cover the costs of adopting a “Transitional eNRMC Product”.
There are three rounds of funding available for the grant between July 2022 and December 2024, with the funding allocation between $5,000 and $22,000 based on eligibility.
Funding can be used towards:

Implementation of SimpleMed eNRMC software

Hardware purchases or upgrades
-
Training and change management
-
Other expenses that directly relate to the sourcing, adoption, or use of our conformant eNRMC Product.
Because the grant amount decreases with each funding round, we encourage RACS to take action now.
